Lancashire Sun is a secluded 10 acre site set in the natural beauty of a forest woodland. In a clearing in the centre there are many sheltered sun traps for sunbathing and relaxing. For the adventurous ones there is a woodland walk through our dense woodland. We have a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool with a heated shower for use at any time. For the more energetic there is a full size tennis court, three hard-surfaced miniten courts and a
four-piste petanque court. Visitors and members who have small children can enjoy the play area with swings, a climbing frame, a tree house and a sandpit Our club house and
pavilion provides a recreation and dining area together with a changing room and a kitchen. The kitchen is available to all members and guests and offers a fridge, oven, microwave oven, kettles and crockery etc for any self-catering needs members and visitors may have. Social evenings and get togethers are regularly held in the club house. Table tennis, a pool table and a dance floor are also available inside the club house for those rainy days when you just don't want to get
cosy in front of the stove. We also have toilet facilities with hot and cold showers. The club is situated between Southport and Preston on the A59 and has a large car park. The site is open all year round to members.
